About

I am a wife and a mama to two little boys- Isaiah, who is four years old, and Quinn, 18 months old. I am passionate about attachment parenting, personal sustainability, natural living and organic food. I have chosen homebirthing, breastfeeding, natural immunity (non-vaccinating), and maintaining a slow-paced lifestyle for my children. As a mom and homemaker, I aspire to create and maintain a simple, lovely, uncluttered living space for our family.

My personal practice is yoga… and, in recent years, I’ve been exploring the path of mothering as my spiritual practice. Presence in parenting is something I’m always reminding myself to come back to.

I love hiking, reading, writing, baking, knitting, sewing, and crafting. I am also very fond of sleep, tea, chocolate, flower remedies, herbs and homeopathy. Before becoming a stay-at-home mother I was a preschool teacher and a student of contemplative education, and I am very inspired by unschooling and Waldorf homeschooling. I am currently working on starting up a new business, teaching yoga to parents and their young children in my new town in mid-coast Maine.

I hold an MA in Environmental Leadership with an emphasis in Contemplative Education, from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I earned my yoga teacher certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga in Lenox, MA, and completed my prenatal yoga teacher training with De West at The Yoga Workshop, Boulder, CO.

Our little family recently relocated from Boulder to the beautiful little city of Bath, Maine!

I’ve been inspired to create this blog because I crave an  intentional space where I can write, share, reflect and express gratitude for some of the sweet, simple little bits of beauty that can be found in the everyday… if I remember to look for them.

I aspire to keep to my chosen path of mindful, attachment parenting, and living lightly on the Earth. Each day is another opportunity to practice.

Blessings to you on your path, and thanks for visiting!
